Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

This policy applies to every user — drivers, insurers, brokers, assessors, fleet managers and administrators.

You must not

  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated information in an FNOL, witness statement, claim note, or document.
  • Use ClaimBeacon to coordinate or facilitate insurance fraud.
  • Attempt to access data outside the tenant or role you are assigned to.
  • Probe, scan, or otherwise attempt to bypass authentication, RLS policies, rate limits, or the witness-token mechanism.
  • Upload malware, illegal content, or content that violates someone else's privacy or copyright.
  • Re-publish other users' incident media, statements, or identity documents outside the claim process.
  • Scrape the platform, the API, or the witness intake link in an automated way without written agreement.
  • Resell, white-label, or operate the service for third parties without a written tenant agreement.

You must

  • Keep account credentials secret and use a strong password.
  • Report security issues responsibly to security@claimbeacon.app.
  • Treat witness, third-party, and other-driver data as confidential.
  • Respect any deletion or correction requests routed to your tenant.

Enforcement

We may warn, suspend, terminate, or refer to law enforcement any account that violates this policy. Violations affecting an ongoing claim will be shared with the insurer of record and may be referred to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
